For many years, the Humboldt Journal was the trusted media source in Humboldt and area. Most of the calls that the Humboldt Fire Department responded to were a popular news story for the Journal. The Humboldt Journal has since moved on, but DiscoverHumboldt.com and The Bolt 107.5 FM have taken over as the digital age has moved our news sources from print, to web based and radio.
